Is there any further word on this subject for the coming year?
I race an '89 LT 250R, and they haven't done much development for new exhausts for the machines in quite a few years.
I'd hate my $10,000 investment to be illegal to race.

The last I heard the bills didn't go through so the laws are still the same as last year.

I talked to state Rep. Scott Suder and he said that each racer and atv owner should contact there Rep. to express there opinion on the decibal restriction every contact they receive from the public helps them fight against the new ruling I also heard that in March the bill is coming to session and voting will be in April So every please contact your state rep and let them no that you are concerned about the new ruling NEUMANN RACING

This is what Doug Morris at ATVA had to say:
Dear Ryan,
ATVA and AMA have been working on this legislation for close to a year now. The original proposed legislation did not take private property rights into consideration or ATV competition held on private property. We have apposed this legislation from the start. We spoke to the author of the bill many times requesting that all the bill needed was one simple exclusion but he refused. We contacted ATVA and AMA members in Wisconsin urging them to write or call the state house to appose the bill. The way we get the voice of ATVers heard is with a strong membership. If you are an ATVA or AMA member I congratulate you for doing your part if you are not a member I urge you and all your ATV riding friends to join ATVA or AMA today! The only way we can make change is with a large vocal membership.
Thanks
Doug Morris
